![]() ![]() I didn’t really ask the rep to elaborate, and frankly, I don’t think the rep will be able to share in-depth details about any fibr hacking issue they are trying to fix to a customer, via phone. I don’t know what the hacking issue was, something related to Fibr connection unauthorized access using the adminpldt interface or something. The rep said that the adminpldt username will not work for it has been temporarily disabled by PLDT due to a hacking issue. Use 171 when you want to call PLDT customer service.Īfter about 5 minutes of queuing, I was finally able to speak with a customer service rep. *The old hotline number for PLDT broadband, dsl, fibr, wimax, etc used to be 172 but now their company have consolidated the call center to use the hotline number 171. Whenever I tried to access the modem’s dashboard using the correct username and password, the system reverts with an error message that says “ Username and password error, try again!” I tried, again and again, but still the error persists.īecause there seems to be no end to this issue unless I call the hotline, I decided to call PLDT 171 after xx unsuccessful login attempts. Change PLDT HOME DSL WIFI Username and Passwordīut before I can do either option, I must be able to enter the admin dashboard first, but as been said I can’t, because the login credentials with username “ adminpldt” and password 1234567890 does not work for 192.168.1.1.If there are unauthorized access, I can either do: The Active Clients list will allow me to see all gadgets that are currently connected to our modem / wifi through the mac address. The way I can know for certain is if I can check the modem’s Active Clients list. Maybe someone has figured out our wifi password, eh? I wanted to know if it is because there were unauthorized users connecting to our PLDT Wifi. ![]() ![]() ![]() The reason why I wanted to gain access to the adminpldt dashboard was that for the last 2 days we have been experiencing intermittent and slow connection. iSensey will share today how to troubleshoot this issue per PLDT rep’s advise. But don’t fret, there is a work around to this, not an exact solution, but at least you can still access the admin dashboard. Are you trying to login to PLDT HOME DSL admin dashboard 192.168.1.1 but you can’t enter despite knowing that you input the correct default password which is “1234567890”? You are not alone. ![]()
